Our Hamilton based client has a great opportunity for Project Manager who can handle and deliver projects efficiently with a high level of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the ongoing success of the business.

This is a permanent fulltime role with a dynamic and team focussed family owned business.

Role description:

You will be in charge of various projects from award to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are taken with care when arranging and organising schedules, costs, health and safety processes, quality assurance check, environmental protection and monthly payment claims.

Responsibilities will include:

Management of time-based construction projects with a budget
Ensuring site safety requirements are complied with
Perform quality assurance checks
Input to monthly payment claims
Motivate employees to work efficiently and effectively to deliver results

To be successful in the role it is essential you have:

A proven history of successful time and budget management of construction projects
Knowledge of New Zealand construction site safety requirements
Experience with quality assurance, HSE documentation and payment claims
A minimum class 1 NZ driver's licence
A relevant engineering degree is an advantage
Good written and oral communication
