You must be capable in the use of hand tools such as; tape measure, hammer, t-square, chalk line, flooring and tile cutters, carpet stretchers and knee kickers. Flexible and able to work extended or outside of “normal” hours.

Additional duties and responsibilities:
• identify and work with a wide range of flooring materials including carpeting, tile, wood plank and other specialty products.
• address small carpentry and trim related issues such as trim work at walls and planing door bottoms.
• work on hands and knees to install flooring products.
• work in a Healthy and Safe manner
• demolition of existing flooring materials
• carrying out repairs to flooring substrate as required
• advising customers on proper flooring care and maintenance

This position ideally suits someone with 2 plus years’ experience in the same or similar field.

It is desirable but not essential, you have experience managing a small team.
