The business is a successful long run roof manufacture who manufacture and supply an extensive range of commercial, residential and rural type roofing, cladding and rainwater products. We are looking for a person that is hands on, works efficiently, can regularly meet deadlines, is reliable with good attention to detail. A decision maker who is adept at multi-tasking with experience in a manufacturing environment. As the role requires working between two sites you must be a strong communicator, comfortable working in a team as well as autonomously. Being able to manage your time is critical. Due to the nature of the work you must be physically fit. Additional skills: Computer literate; Competent forklift operator with OSH and F; Knowledge of roofing and/or building is advantageous; Ability to remain calm and objective. If you enjoy diversity, working at multiple tasks at the same time and being responsible for outcomes, this role will appeal to you. You must be either a New Zealand resident or have the right to work in New Zealand and available for an immediate start. Part of the preemployment screening process will include: Drug screen, ACC and MOJ checks.
